With over 25 years of experience, Michell Mateo is the founder of M & C Holistic Salon & Barber. Her career began in New York City, where she spent 15 years refining her expertise in luxury hair color, precision cutting, balayage, curly hair, and healthy hair transformations. During her time at Giannillo Salon, the salon was recognized by Avenue Magazine and NewBeauty Magazine for offering one of New York City's best blowouts.

Committed to lifelong learning, Michell continued her education at Sky Salon, one of New England's pioneering organic salons, where she received advanced training through OWAY, Simply Organic Beauty, and the American Institute of Haircolor — specializing in healthier, high-performance hair color and holistic hair care.

In 2019, Michell and her husband, Charlie, founded M & C Holistic Salon & Barber in Frisco, Texas, with a vision to provide luxury hair care rooted in wellness, integrity, and exceptional craftsmanship. Inspired by her faith, she is dedicated to serving every guest with kindness, excellence, and genuine care.

Mirna Alonso

Mirna Alonso is a licensed hairstylist who is passionate about helping guests feel confident through beautiful, healthy hair. As an Associate Stylist & Salon Assistant at M & C Holistic Salon & Barber, she supports color services, styling, guest care, and salon operations while continuing to expand her education and technical skills.

Since joining the M & C team, Mirna has embraced the salon's holistic philosophy and commitment to exceptional service. Known for her warm personality, attention to detail, and caring nature, she strives to make every guest feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued from the moment they arrive.
